Our
yoga class is a hatha yoga class. The class consists of a series
of postures including breathing. The class lasts 90 minutes. The
first 60 minutes are postures, the last 25 minutes consists of a
guided meditation. The class is designed for beginners, but can
also challenge the accomplished yogi! You should bring a yoga sticky
mat to class, two towels and WATER! You should not eat for 2-3 hours
prior to class.
The

few words about...
~ yoga etiquette ~

- Taking
your shoes off before entering any yoga
studio is a sign of respect and courtesy, like the Hawaiians
do upon entering any residence. Also, we don’t track
any dirt into the studio.
- Silence
is gold: Yoga classes are a meditation in motion; consider
beginning the meditation as you enter the studio. For instance,
please unroll your yoga mat quietly.

Lastly, please shower before a yoga class.
This leaves our skin feeling clean, as well as opening the
pores. Showering removes the "debris" of the day
as well as any other unwanted odors be they cologne or otherwise.
